Back in the '90s, Executive Producer MARIO LAVEZZI asked BEPPE CANTARELLI to re-arrange & produce some of the most beautiful and successful '70s songs by popular Italian 'pop-rock-&-soul' singer, DRUPI.
Mr. CANTARELLI, along with several of his faithful musicians such as drummer VINNIE COLAIUTA, bass player JOHN PATITUCCI, keyboards player LARRY "Earth, Wind & Fire" DUNN, sax & ewy player STEVE TAVAGLIONE, programmer & producer BRUCE FORAT, guitarists JIM CRESPO & CHARLES FEARING, vocalists ANGEL SHEPPARD, ANDREA ROBINSON & PERRY MOORE and Gospel Choir PENTECOSTAL COMMUNITY CHOIR, delivered a stunning and groovy CD-project - interpreted by DRUPI himself - which charted in Italy, France and many other European & South American countries.
Along with several of his hit songs, DRUPI recorded this selection originally composed by BEPPE CANTARELLI - "I'M GONNA LIFT YOUR DESIRE (Manderò Alle Stelle Il Tuo Desiderio)" - and here featuring a brilliant adaptation with Italian lyric.
