THE CREATOR

Behind every building there is a builder,
And every painting requires a painter.
Every candle, a candlemaker.
And every cake baked by a baker,

But what of breath-taking mountain ranges,
Trees, flowers and seasonal changes.
Glorious skies over sparkling lakes
Storms, rainbows, geometric snowflakes

And what of feathered or furry creatures
Fierce, majestic or with cute little features
Eagles, tigers and grizzly bears,
Robins, squirrels or mountain hares

Butterflies, bees and strange little snails.
Fish of all kinds, magnificent whales
Fruit growing from trees for anyone to eat
Tiny little seeds to vast fields of wheat

And what of us, so carefully designed;
To build or paint if we so inclined.
Eyes to see and smiles to wear
Arms to hug and hearts to care

Love, pain, laughter and tears,
Deciding what to do with our years.
Are we to believe there is no creator?
That creation came from nothing greater?

Scientific theories that have proved to be fake
Have duped the masses to believing the snake.
That we’re our own gods, we’re as good as it gets,
Despite our lifetimes crammed full of regrets.

Break off the chains of this empty belief
Call on The Lord before He comes as a thief
Jesus has the power to set our souls free
Evidence for Him is in everything we see

Seek the creator and you will discover;
Christ is the way and there is no other.
Humbly accept His free gift of grace,
And He will secure your heavenly place.
