Nigeria-Biafra Peace Talks in Kampala, Uganda 🇳🇬 🇺🇬 May 1968

The Nigerian delegation was led by Chief Anthony Enahoro, the Federal Commissioner for Information, and the Biafra side by Sir Louis Mbanefo, a former World Court judge.

The host was His Excellency, Mr. Milton Obote, the Prime Minister of Uganda. The talks were being held under the auspices of the Commonwealth Secretariat led by the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Mr. Arnold Smith of Canada.
