Evil Dead Rise Review

The moment has arrived. I am your Horror Host Inkarnate, and I present my review of my most anticipated Horror Film of 2023. This is what I consider to be the first true original film in the series, divorced from the mainline franchise. It's not a sequel to the Ash Trilogy and not a remake. With a fresh coat of paint away from the Cabin (mostly) and all new characters to follow, this latest entry is anything but fairytale as the story sees a household torn apart by the series iconic Book of the Dead. As the Evil Rises within the apartment, chaos falls upon the bloodline. In a plot that features a twisted rendition of family, one unexpected expecting mother must fight the forces of Evil wearing the skin of her sister to keep as much of her family alive, not to mention intact.
