In this episode Bill talks with mayu the vocalist and founder of the All-Female Japanese Metal band, Nemophila.
This is our first interview using a translator, which made things interesting.
We talk about the music scene growing up in Japan, things she originally wanted to be until she was exposed to American metal, how they decided on the name Nemophila and what it means, building their presence in Japan, and how much the internet helped their popularity grow across the globe.
