Video captures racial incident that led to Las Vegas teacher’s firing

Las Vegas shows reactions from students the moment a local teacher reportedly wrote a racial slur on a whiteboard.

In one of the video clips, the substitute appears to tell students, “African features…were said to resemble those of monkeys and apes.”

As the lesson continues, the “n” word appears on the whiteboard, and the students react.

“Either we can have a fun class today where we actually talk about English…I was planning on y’all being a bunch of little punks and misbehaving and this class acting as detention,” the substitute is heard saying over the video.

A Sequoia Middle School language arts teacher is being criticized after she was caught on video repeatedly using a racial slur.
According to students, the class was reading a Mark Twain novel when someone asked the teacher about the spelling of the N-word.

“I don’t know why all of you are making such a big deal when this word leaves most of your mouths every second,” the teacher said.

Mayor Lamar Thorpe of Antioch released a video statement condemning the 17 Antioch police officers, including the president of the Antioch Police Union, who allegedly sent racist memes and texts amongst each other.

The man almost hit their car so they honked at him and this was his response. Karma was quick and I hope justice is too. In addition to causing racial trauma, he endangered the lives of every person on the highway. Lock him up.
