This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 30th part further discusses the accusation of the Pharisees that Jesus' disciples did something unlawful on the sabbath day while traveling through the corn fields, in particular, we look at a couple of more examples that may be applicable to doing things on the sabbath for eating. This Bible study is within a sub-series that we have begun to study regarding Jesus being asked questions about the sabbath (Matthew 12:1-14; Mark 2:23 – 3:6; Luke 6:1-11). Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: Leviticus 23:3; Leviticus 23:5-8i; Leviticus 23:16i; Leviticus 23:21; Leviticus 23:24; Leviticus 23:27; Leviticus 23:32; Leviticus 23:34ii-36i; Leviticus 23:39ii; Exodus 12:14-16; Exodus 35:3; Luke 13:10-17; Galatians 2:16. Overall, this is our 70th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
