Each tin will have about 2.65 ounces of Turkey. 2 tins = 5.3 ounces or 1/3 LB.
USDA suggest 4 ounces is a serving, so about one and a half tin per person for this recipe or eat what you like ☺️ I ate two, = to 1/3 LB 👍☺️

A cupcake/muffin baking pan can be used instead.

Preheat oven to 375

1 LB lean ground Turkey
1/3 cup Matzo Meal
1 large egg
7 green olives sliced into 3rds
3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast Flakes (for added B Vitamins and Fiber)
3 Tbsp ketchup (save 1 Tbsp for glaze)
1 1/2 Tbsp honey (save 1/2 Tbsp for glaze)
1 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup (save 1/2 Tbsp for glaze)
1 Tbsp Sunflower oil plus a little to oil baking pans
1 garlic clove crushed and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste, NOT much salt is needed because of other ingredients

In large bowl, add oil to meat, all ingredients, then combine well. Add olives last.

Don’t forget to make the glaze for later, 1 Tbsp ketchup, 1/2 Tbsp honey and 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup.

Lightly oil 6 individual serving pans.
Heaping ice cream scoop of meat mixture was used per mini pie pan here.

Place small individual pans in larger pan, 9” x 9” works... cover meat area with loose foil to keep moist, then bake at 375 for 25 minutes.

Remove foil, add glaze to top with brush or spoon. and turn temperature up to 425 cook for another 10-15 minutes until a little brown.

Let rest out of oven for 5 minutes, then easily remove individual loaves with large spoon or let your guest eat their Turkey Loaf straight from a tin on a plate.

It turned out so delicious, even without onion... Since no onion was added, the dog enjoyed a treat over her dog food. Olives and Nutritional Yeast is a good occasional treat for dogs.

This recipe would be perfect to make Mini Party Turkey Balls, just serve on a tray with toothpicks.

Temperature reading of meat in an out door dome oven was about 140 after 25 minutes, then after browning was over 200, which was fine. It was cooked perfect and very moist.

Ground Turkey meat temperature 165-170 is what most cooks recommend.

Note: I tried freeze dried broccoli for first time. Just heat up in boiling water. But it taste so darn good, crispy dry, right out of the can. Eat it like popcorn. My dog loves it. Unopened cans last up to 30 years. I included that company can at end of video. I also tried their diced sweet potato, and it is just as good. I’m not affiliated with the company. Produce was purchased back in 2020 during USA lockdown when Joe was installed.
