The prophet Isaiah foretells of the global climate catastrophe of AD 536 and the Plague of Justinian; a meteorite in France in AD 580; and the great Beirut earthquake of 551. He predicts the Muslim capture of Constantinople followed by the colonization of the wilderness of North America.
