1 Minute Microwave Mug Cake Recipes | 3 Back To School Treats!
Chocolate Chip Mug Cake:
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until well combined and smooth.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the batter in the mug.
Microwave on high for about 1 minute, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle.
Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute or two before serving.
Cinnamon Roll Mug Cake:
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cream cheese (softened)
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions:
In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until well combined and smooth.
In a separate small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the batter in the mug and swirl gently with a toothpick or knife.
Microwave on high for about 1 minute, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle.
Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute or two. Serve warm.
Blueberry Muffin Mug Cake:
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions:
In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until well combined and smooth.
Gently fold in the blueberries.
Microwave on high for about 1 minute, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle.
Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute or two before serving.
