Best Falafel Patties Recipe

Falafel Patties are great Appetizers, or you can make a Lunch with Pita Bread and spicy Coleslaw or Dinner serving them with Rice and Salad.

Falafel Patties
Ingredients:
2 cups Chickpeas (rinsed & dried)
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
3 tsp Pink Salt, divided
4 cups Water
1 Onion (cut lg pieces)
2/3 cup Carrots (grated)
3 Garlic Cloves
1 cup Italian Parsley Leaves
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1 tbsp Coriander (ground)
1 tbsp Cumin (ground)
1 tsp Baking Powder
2 tbsp Almond Flour
1/2 cup Coconut Oil, divided

Combine Chickpeas, Baking Soda, 1 tsp Salt and Water in Instant Pot, pressure cook for 20 Minutes open after 10 Minutes natural release, drain away cooking liquid.
Use Food Processor and pulse Onion, Carrots, Garlic & Parsley until chopped finely.
Add Chickpeas, rest of Salt, Pepper, Chili Powder, Coriander, Cumin, Baking Powder & Almond Flour pulse until paste like consistency.
Refrigerate Mixture for 30 Minutes.
Form 24 Falafel Patties (approx. 1,5 oz each)
Heat 1/4 cup Oil in large Pan on high heat, cook Patties (in batches with rest of Oil) until golden on both sides.
