Latino Truckers Boycott Florida To Protest DeSantis's Discriminative Immigration Law

Latino truck drivers are boycotting Florida in protest of a new law that imposes severe penalties on undocumented immigrants and their employers. The boycott is being organized on Spanish-language social media, and it is gaining traction quickly.

In a video posted to TikTok, truck driver Roberto Sandoval said, "We are all united in defense of our Latin American brothers who are being hit by that stupid law that incites hatred and discrimination in the state of Florida."

The law, which was signed by Governor Ron DeSantis, makes it a felony to knowingly hire an undocumented immigrant. It also allows for the seizure of vehicles and property used to transport undocumented immigrants.
