On Monday, a Nigerian chef achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new global record for the longest nonstop cooking session.

Hilda Baci dedicated a staggering 100 hours to cooking, surpassing the previous record. Her culinary journey began on Thursday of the previous week, with the goal of surpassing the Guinness World Record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set in 2019 by Indian chef Lata Tondon.

At approximately 19:45 GMT on Monday, Baci completed her 100th hour of continuous cooking in the bustling Lekki area of Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub, the Associated Press reported.
