This unique term blends "she" and "hero" to honor women for their courage, virtuous qualities, and impressive achievements. Unlike fictional characters with superpowers, SHEROES encompass real-life women who inspire us with their everyday acts of heroism.

On Mother's Day and every day, we acknowledge the sacrifices made by mothers, which go far beyond the birthing process.

While not all women are mothers and not all mothers experience childbirth, we recognize the multitude of ways in which women sacrifice for their children. From providing unwavering support and guidance to selflessly caring for their children, mothers demonstrate incredible strength and heroism.

Delving into the biblical perspective, Dr. Jeff Kaplan explores the origins of labor pain as a consequence of the fall of Adam and Eve. Kaplan underscores how the pain of childbirth serves as a reminder of the universal and severe consequences of sin. Drawing from examples in the Bible, such as Jabez's mother and Rachel, we witness the depth of sacrifice and pain experienced by women throughout history.
