Dr. Pradip Jamnadas explains that if you are trying to lose weight, it is best to avoid all grains, but that once health has returned it is ok to eat some grains. He does not recommend corn. In general, he believes wheat is not a very good grain and finds that many patients do better without consuming it. He said fermented foods are ideal, so recommends eating sourdough breads over other types.
