270win Gel Test 117gr HH, 110gr TTSX, 130gr SST

This was a sample video for me to practice recording gel slow motion footage. Not intended to provide extensive useable data. All using a 270win. The first four shots were with the 117gr Hammer Hunter at 3300fps. I was only able to capture two of the four as the bullets didn't track straight through the gel and some exited the block. Both shanks were 80.1 & 80.3 gr Measured penetration 30 and 36 inches.

The fifth shot was the 110gr Barnes at 3400fps. Shank recovered and the pedals had broken off in the gel. Shank was 71.2gr. Recovered pedals were 31.5gr. 32" of penetration.

Final shot was a Hornady 130gr SST at 3100fps. Bullet recovered as a perfect mushroom. 77.4gr retained weight. 21.5" of penetration
