Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang Valley Trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you through the Langtang National Park, offering stunning views of the Himalayan mountains and the surrounding landscapes. The trek is named after the Langtang Valley, which is located in the north-central part of Nepal and is one of the closest trekking destinations to Kathmandu.

The Langtang Trek is a moderate to challenging trek that typically takes around 8 to 12 days to complete, depending on the itinerary and the pace of the trekker. The trek starts from Syabrubesi, a small town located around 117 km north of Kathmandu, and passes through scenic villages, lush forests, raging rivers, and rugged terrain.

The trek also takes you to the Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery located at an altitude of 3,800 meters. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Langtang Ri (6,370m), and other peaks in the Langtang range.
