Farmers protest against new animal law in Madrid

Thousands of farmers rallied outside the Ministry of Agriculture against the government's environmental policies in Madrid. One protester said that this is not a law in favor of animal welfare, but makes wild animals look like pets, which endangers farmers at work. ‘They have no idea what the countryside is like,’ he said.
