Both candidates in the Turkish presidential elections are sure they'll win the second round, as preliminary results suggest the elections are likely to slide into a run-off. For the first time in its history, the UN commemorates the 75th anniversary of the mass displacement of Palestinians, known as “the Nakba”. This follows a week of deadly Israeli strikes on Gaza, with dozens killed. Ukrainian forces hit residential areas of Lugansk with UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles, despite London's assurances they won't be used against civilian targets.
