[1. The right to possess money.]

Ecclesiastes 5:10-11, if someone’s only purpose in life is to lay up treasure on earth, than that is vanity; demand and consumption increases, therefore what is the joy of trusting in material riches?
1 Timothy 6:6-7
1 Timothy 6:10, the root of all KINDS of evil, is the LOVE of money

Proverbs 30:8-9, the love of money causes people to forget God
Mark 4:18-19, the love of money makes people vulnerable to deception
Matt 6:33, seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, otherwise the love of money causes people to compromise biblical instruction
Proverbs 23:4-5, the love of money the causes people to rest on unstable foundations
Proverbs 11:28, and such ends poorly
Proverbs 28:11, the love of money brings pride
Malachi 3:8, God owns everything and we may be just humble stewards of what we receive

[3. The blessing in giving.]
2 Corinthians 8:5, give (themselves) first to the Lord
1 Corinthians 4:2, a steward should be found faithful; start first with the local church and then fan out
Matthew 6:3, giving is a private matter; the temptation otherwise, is preferential treatment to donors/givers
Luke 16:10, the consistency of faith drives the effectiveness of giving

“That there may be food in My house,
