KODIAK POWER and HOW THE ISLAND GETS ELECTRICITY

Here are just a few highlights from our class trip to the Kodiak Island diesel plant and wind turbine substation. Even though the Kodiak weather didn't cooperate and allow us to visit the actual wind turbines, elementary students got a great tour and some valuable learning opportunities thanks for Kodiak Electric Association workers.
