How to identify a false teacher

Focus point is deception in the end times
The world is full of false teachers. The first thing out of the mouth of Christ in His Sermon on the Mount of Olives was; “take heed lest any man deceive you” which is especially relevant in the end times; even more so when it comes to the second coming of Christ.

Elaborate on the great overthrow and the two Christs

Matthew 24: And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

There are 2 ways to look at verse 5, many will actually claim to be Christ and second, many will claim to be Christ’s possession. John makes it a point to recognize these fakes in;
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: (end times) and as ye have heard that antichrist (fake christ) shall come, even now are there many antichrists; (fake christs) whereby we know that it is the last time.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

(not flying away in rapture beforehand)

9 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

Verse 9 is widely misunderstood, this is a metaphor. The subject is false teachers, what does a woman having a baby to do with false teachers? The child spoken of here is false doctrine and “giving suck’ is saying those who teach false doctrine about the second coming of our Lord are nursing or keeping alive false doctrine. (Pre trib rapture)

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Here is another metaphor regarding harvest of crops. Crops are never harvested in the winter; this is saying do not be harvested out of season just as the pre trib rapture claims.
Being ignorant of the chronology of the second coming pre trib rapture teachers are telling you to be harvested in the winter instead of waiting until fall.

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
All Christians will go through the great tribulation and this discourse is written to you

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Further proof this discourse is written to Christians and if the Great Tribulation wasn’t shortened even they would be deceived. Pre trib rapture teachers will never explain this verse in their chronology.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

When Christ appears at His second coming, all flesh will be changed in the moment of a twinkle of an eye;
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: (7th Trump) for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

So if you can still pinch yourself and feel it you are still in the flesh and by this you will know Christ hasn’t returned yet. This is the meaning of verse 23, if they say to you “lo here is Christ and lo here is Christ”, just use this litmus test.

Rapture teachers make the false claim that your flesh will be raptured and you will fly away like a bird. This is totally contrary to the teaching of Christ Himself

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Here is another reference to the elect who are Christians and guess what? They are still here going through the Great Tribulation. Why would the time be shortened if they were already gone in rapture?

25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Repeating the verse that says “lo He is here and lo He is there”

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles (vultures) be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Many in the rapture camp make the claim the words “of those days” is some other time period and not the Great Tribulation…don’t be deceived this is a lie!

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
This is the one and only second coming of Jesus Christ

Ladies and gents this isn’t rocket science but the pre trib rapture teachers will muddy the waters to the point of utter confusion. They will throw scripture after scripture at you hoping to prove a point that is just not there. It can’t be documented period. The case for the pre trib rapture foundation is built on pure supposition and the machinations of men. The average Christian is left confused and the real truth has been obfuscated from them and this is the very definition of an antichrist.

John 14? Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
