Adin Ross is a 22-year-old American live streamer known for his collaborations with celebrities and live streaming himself playing NBA 2k and GTA. According to Ross, his addiction began after he was prescribed painkillers following surgery. Over time, he became increasingly reliant on the drugs and eventually turned to street drugs like when he could no longer get prescriptions. Ross's story is unfortunately all too common in the United States, where opioid addiction has reached epidemic levels in recent years. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 50,000 people died from opioid overdoses in 2019 alone.
