Turn NO into YES in D2D Roofing Sales

Here's how to turn nos into yeses when you're out knocking doors. See, when you're out knocking doors for roofing sales, you're, you know, slapping doors if you know, you know, and many people have a tendency to say no to your offer for an inspection because humans have been saying no since we were two years old.

It is an exercise of boundaries, and we get in the mind of our customer. We realize that. All of them see the same logo and it says, I sell roofs. That's what almost all of them say. I sell roofs. So we need to disarm that homeowner to make them trust us, and they don't wanna feel like they're force fed something.

So what we do first is say, Mr. Homeowner, what we do is we take photos and videos and we show you what we find so you can see it for yourself and be your own judge. And this builds trust. And then we go in for the ask by doing this, do you have any objection if I hop up real quick and then I'll show you what I find?

And there you have it, by asking, do you have any objection? Their inherent natural response is to say no, but in fact, they're agreeing with you. It is a powerful way to turn those nos into yeses.
