(Dead Space Theory 2018) Ellie Langford survives losing an eye, necromorphs, and the marker signal

If you clock how long Ellie Langford is exposed to markers, the fact is she has remained the only human largely unaffected. Isaac showed symptoms within hours of contact. Carver the same. Norton was turned into a necromorph, but still, consistently, Ellie has remained sane. So why exactly does this happen? Are there other humans out there that are also immune? How does this immunity even exist? I think ive got a theory as to why this is the case!
