Today we are recognizing Thomas Gamboa is

Thomas Gamboa is the assistant director of winds studies and the music director for the wind ensemble at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music. He's an accomplished conductor. He held the rank of captain as commander of the United States Airforce Band at Robins Airforce Base. His work with the band helped him receive an Emmy nomination. He said he is working to change Filipino conductor representation in the symphonic music community. That's why we are highlighting his accomplishments for AAPI heritage month.
