What is the difference between PCOS and PCOD?
1. PCOD condition can be improved by adopting a healthy lifestyle that includes a good diet, exercise, etc whereas PCOS is a metabolic disorder hence the tips or tricks that could work in the case of PCOD may not work in the case of PCOS. So, in this case, the doctor's recommendation is always important.
2. PCOD is very common and almost every 3rd woman is suffering from this condition whereas PCOS is not that common.
3. If someone is suffering from PCOS then there are high chances that that person may also suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes etc. Though it is not true for PCOD.
4. In PCOD, the ovulation could be normal, periods could come regularly and fewer chances of infertility whereas it is totally reverse in the case of PCOS.
