Experiment Solar charging power station with no extra battery.

This was a experiment to see if I could get my Northpole Light to charge off of a 100 watt solar panel, and a 15 amp solar charger controller Without a extra battery. While this did work it will charge slower than charging off of the wall plug. The charging plug outputs 20 volts and 5 amps at 100 watts in to the power station. Charging from a 12 volt panel at 100 watts puts out over 8 amps. It will charge inputting between 1 and 3 watts and outputting 0 watts. because it is a lower voltage it would take much longer to charge, but in a emergency this would work. I had a lot of fun testing this.
