Autoimmune Disease Epidemic: Could Our Food Supply Be to Blame?

“One out of seven Americans now struggles with an autoimmune condition. Thirty years ago, that number was one in 400 Americans. And interestingly, 80% of all those struggling with autoimmune disease are women,” reported #CHDTV host Kelly Ryerson.

“One contributor that is very, very rarely mentioned is the toxicity of our food supply,” she mentioned, “including the prevalence of using really powerful pesticides on our food and the quantity of heavy metal that is in our food. And due to chemical farming and this new way of farming since World War II, we are really finding that minerals are not in our food at all. The key minerals that we need to biologically function are no longer present in our crops.”
