Replacing the alternator generator on a 2005 Lexus ES330
Friend concern was the noise it was making while at idle and driving.
Noise was coming from the alternator generator. The rear bearing was making the noise. I used a mechanics stethoscope to help me find the noise location.
Told her the car was OK to drive since it was just a bearing.

We had set up in a week to replace the alternator. But a couple days later the car would not start.
The battery is still in good condition because I replaced it on November 2016.
Friend had the car jump started and did not drive the car till I got it a week later.

Got the car and had to jump start it. Noticed the battery light was on before driving on the freeway. I took the chance and luckily I reached home.
