Replacing cracked radiator, 1998 Honda Civic

I drove car from my friends apartment 5 miles away since it was not allowed to repair it in her parking spot.
Topped off the the radiator with water and by the time I arrived home, it did not over heat. Thank you Lord!!

I used a Snap-On cooling system pressure tester and found the leak located at the top of the radiator. The crack was about 3-4 inches long. It is common to find the crack in that location. I have replaced Toyota radiators with the same crack.

Just follow the video and you will easily replace the radiator in no time. There was some transmission fluid that spilled out from the transmission hoses but nothing to be concerned about. Only around 2-3 ounces of fluid is loss. I did not add any fluid after radiator replacement. She says she will be back for a transmission flush.
But if you would like to put the same amount back, there is a dipstick on top of the tranny. It is easy to find.

It was missing the top radiator support, so I just cut off a piece of the old radiator hose and made a temporary one.
