Is Homeschool and Work from Home an Impossible Dream?

Do you have an impossible dream in your heart? Do you want to homeschool and work from home, but it feels like you will never reach that point. Mom, I've been there, and I am going to share with my story on how I got to the place of homeschooling and working from home. So I was living my impossible dream.

I am a successful virtual assistant and homeschool mom of 6. Yes, I birthed them all. This is the momtrepreneur life coffee chat. Where we pull back the curtain on life as a momtrepreneur and homeschool mom.

Can I Homeschool and Work from Home?
We are almost to the end of the school year, there are a lot of moms making decisions now. Should I continue to homeschool? Or should my kids go back to school? Is it even possible for me to homeschool and work from home? How do I actually homeschool and work from home?

I know what it is like to be in a place that it was never going to happen. As we are driving through New York City, rush hour traffic. Yes, it is a bad as every says it is. We have screaming kids in the back because they are just tired of being in the car seat. We've tested their patience with it. They've been in there for two hours.

I remember thinking. I don't want the rest of my life to feel like this. At the time it felt completely impossible. I knew that I couldn't stop working. Our budget required my salary.

At this time, the only thing I knew was I didn't want to do this for the rest of my life. But I didn't know how it would happen. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. Occasionally, I glimpsed a light, but it always turned into an oncoming train.

Here is the conclusion of the story. Eventually, we did get to a place where I could homeschool and work from home. It wasn't an easy transition. I got laid off. It was really a fork in the road moment. I could apply for a job or I could make this virtual assistant business work. You can read more at Hello Moms.

Homeschool and work from home is not an impossible dream. It took me 10 years and 3 states to finally be in a place where we can homeschool and work from home.

Where do I Start so I can Homeschool and Work from Home?
The best place to start is right where you are. Even if your steps are going to be small. It doesn't matter how small they are as long as you are heading in the right direction.

Start with your current job. Take a hard look at your budget. Then as you start, don't judge the rest of your homeschool by your first year.
