Rising Praise and Worship Star, SIMON KHOROLSKIY - Artist Spotlight "How Great Thou Art"

Brian is back with a very unique Artist Spotlight today, with an incredible Christian praise and worship singer/songwriter, Simon Khorolskiy!

Originally from Russia, SIMON KHOROLSKIY family emigrated to the US when he was two years old, and he's lived in Washington State since. With an intriguing folk country sound to his praise and worship songs, combined with an incredible voice that is reminiscent of Avi Kaplan, Simon has built a steady and loyal following on Youtube. The unique thing with Simon's music is that he sings many of his songs in his native Russian tongue (thankfully with English subtitles in the videos), while also doing many songs in English.

Among the legion of incredible songs that Simon has created include "Have Mercy", "How Great Thou Art", "Holy Is The Lord", "Choose Life", and Brian's favorite "I Wonder As I Wander".

Hi there!

My name is Simon, I am a singer based in Washington State, where I reside with my wife and 5 small children. Although I grew up in the United States, I was born into a Russian family that immigrated here in 1992 when I was two years old.

Music has always been an important part of my life. After our Lord saved me and I grew in my personal relationship with Him, He has blessed me with a passion to sing and compose music for His glory. It is a great honor and privilege to wake up every day and be able to make music for a living. I find great inspiration for new songs in the Bible, many of them have been born while meditating on God’s word. In addition, the Pacific Northwest is full of God’s majestic natural beauty that I feature in my videos. It continually motivates me to praise and worship the Creator.
