Backpacking Pictured Rocks with the Wife! | Taquamenon Falls | Kitch-iti-kipi

Forgotten footage from October 5, 2019! I was finally able to bring my wife with me to visit some of my favorite places in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

We stayed at Taquamenon Falls State Park on night one and then hiked a 15 mile portion of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore trail from Miners Castle to Little Beaver Lake, which in my opinion, is the best section of the trail. Plans were to stay at Mosquito Creek on night one and Coves on night two.

On our way home we spent the night at Indian Lake State Park just outside of Manistique, Michigan and visited the “Big Spring” aka Kitch-iti-kipi.
