In this video I make a spur of the moment decision to drive down to Southern Kentucky to meet up with a South bound FKT (fastest known time) participant on the Sheltowee Trace to help pace him to the finish. After an evening at an amazing campground I ended up waiting for hours with no cellular service to meet up on the trail. I encounter too many spiders, too much humidity but finally get a chance to help pace an FKT runner towards the finish line to Burnt Mill Bridge. Oh, and I also announce my big FKT plans! A week after the FKT we sit down together at Mohican State Park for a little trip recap and find out exactly what happened during this FKT attempt.
