Beyond the Black, German Symphonic Metal Titans Artist Spotlight "Pearl In A World of Dirt", "Numb"

In this episode, Brian focuses on one of his all time favorite bands, the German symphonic metal super group BEYOND THE BLACK. Begun in 2014 and signed to Napalm Records, Beyond the Black has released four studio albums, including their latest "Horizons", which was just released on June 19, 2020.

Beyond the Black is led by the beautiful and powerful voice of frontwoman Jennifer Haben. Joining her to form this amazing band are guitarists Chris Hermsdorfer and Tobi Lodes, bassist Stefan Herkenhoff, and drummer Kai Tschierschky.

Among the myriad of amazing Beyond the Black songs, some that stand out for us are "Pearl In A World of Dirt", "Numb", "Hallelujah", "Love's A Burden", and the recent hit "Wounded Healer", which includes a guest appearance from the incomparable Elize Ryd of Amaranthe!
