The "birdhouse" in the form of an anti-cumulative grid is welded to the tower, closing it from attacks. On the published footage, you can see that rows of "Contact-1" containers are now hung on the visor from above, in total over 40 pieces. As a result, the whole structure creates a durable metal curtain, which can reach more than 200 kilograms. As Viktor Murakhovsky, editor-in-chief of Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine, explained, such a visor with dynamic protection could well protect the tank from kamikaze drones, as well as from projectiles dropped from drones.
