STREETS OF RAGE GAMEPLAY

Streets of Rage, known as Bare Knuckle (ベア・ナックル Bea Nakkuru?) in Japan, is a series of side-scrolling beat 'em up video games centered on the efforts of various heroes as they try to rid a city of the domination of a crime syndicate. The original trilogy of games was developed and published by Sega for the Mega Drive in the 1990s, and has since been ported and re-released on multiple platforms. A fourth title in the series is being developed by DotEmu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games.

The games were well received and have been re-released several times in both compilations and standalone titles. The games' electronic dance music soundtrack, by Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima, was also highly acclaimed.
