New Hugelkultur Herb Bed 2 Ponds And A Package Arrived

It was raining all day so I built a new, larger, herb bed using the Hugelkultur method. I also dug out two ponds and spread some mulch around one of my raised beds.

The Hugelkultur method of gardening starts out with rotting wood debris followed by mulch, then straw or soil built up on top of it. Decaying material in the hill warms the plants during cold periods, prolongs the growing season and provides nutrients for plant roots for a long time.
