Hair development alludes to the cycle by which hair develops on the scalp or different pieces of the body. Hair development happens in three stages: anagen, catagen, and telogen. The anagen stage is the dynamic development stage where the hair follicle delivers new hair cells, and this stage commonly endures between two to six years.

The catagen stage is a temporary stage where the hair follicle contracts, and the hair quits developing. This stage goes on for around fourteen days. The telogen stage is the resting stage where the hair follicle is dormant, and the hair is shed from the scalp. This stage commonly goes on for three to four months.
