The Cutscenes in Deadly Premonition Origins Got a MAJOR Downgrade. Why?

Deadly Premonition was ported to Switch in 2019 in the form of Deadly Premonition Origins. This was a surprise to everyone not with it being announced, but originally releasing on the eShop the same day it was announced! A physical copy released about 3 months after the digital release, which is when I got my hands on it. Upon booting it up I noticed the pre-rendered cutscenes looked much worse than I remembered. To make sure I wasn't misremembering anything, I decided to compare the Switch release to the original Xbox 360 release from almost 10 years ago to see what might be going on...
