How to Uninstall PS3 CFW or PS3HEN | Revert to Stock OFW

Many people who have installed CFW or HFW with PS3HEN have asked about the process of restoring their PS3 back to a stock state with OFW. Many CFW options as well as PS3HEN have built in protections which prevent OFW from being installed from the XMB with a USB drive, so the solution to restore OFW is to install it via Recovery Mode. This video will explain the process of setting up a USB drive with an OFW update, booting into Recovery Mode, and successfully reverting a modified PS3 to stock firmware.

This video assumes you already own a jailbroken PS3 console running custom firmware or a console modified with PS3HEN. It is also assumed you the viewer has at least a basic understanding of how to navigate their console.
