Wing: Mottled Turkey
Hackle: Rooster Dry Fly Saddle, Brown

The Kings River Caddis is just a quick and simple caddis pattern that rides just in the surface film and is great for fishing any caddis hatch on warm or cold water streams. There are lots of great caddis patterns available but this one is simple to tie and easily changed by changing the color of the dubbed body and/or the darkness of the wing. It utilizes basic fly tying techniques and in no time you can have a dozen or so in your box for your next outing. -- Enjoy.
