Artillerymen of the Central Military District conduct counter-battery warfare operation

During combat operations, Msta-S howitzer crews fire a series of shots from closed firing positions at uncovered targets, allowing the Ukrainians to detect themselves, thereby provoking a return fire.

The enemy artillery systems which have opened fire are revealed by Russian artillery reconnaissance radars, and the Giatsint-S self-propelled guns carry out their missions at a range of more than 30 km in a short time.

While performing firing missions, artillerymen interact with unmanned aerial vehicle crews, which correct the accuracy of fire and monitor the target engagement.
