System Transfer on the Nintendo Switch is Not Great...

I recently picked up the Nintendo Switch OLED Model on launch day with the intention of transitioning over to using it as my main Switch console, retiring my original launch model Switch from 2017. After being familiar with the process of performing a System Transfer on the 3DS, I was sure it would take a few minutes and just require me to swap over my microSD card at the end, with Animal Crossing being an exception. It turns out I was wrong and found out no games, applications, DLC, or updates can be transferred from one Switch to another! The only resolution for this is to reinstall or redownload everything, which can take up quite a bit of time and bandwidth for anyone with an extensive Switch collection. I woke up and felt like ranting about this process while I was going through it all, so here we are!
