Heather Sirocki Opening Remarks on May 1, 2023 Opposing Govenor Mills LD1619 Late Term Abortion Bill

On Monday, May 1, 2023 over 2,000 Maine voters from all over the state traveled to the Capitol in Augusta to testify against LD 1619 that would allow late term abortion for any reason and such abortions would not require a medical doctor.

Political groups that played a major role in coordinating this event were Stand Up for Life, Maine Right to Life and the Christian Civic League of Maine.
