Sister Maire Inconnue was a French nun who traveled to Canada to help Acadian refugees during the French and Indian War in the 18th century. Unfortunately, her kindness led her into danger and she was behe3@ded under mysterious circumstances. Some believe she was killed by a mentally ill fur trapper, while others claim it was by thieves who were looking for hidden money. Her b0dy, without the head, was sent back to France for burial. Legend has it that her he@d was never found, and she still haunts the island searching for it, offering a reward to anyone who can help her.
