Mike Mountain Horse was an Indigenous man and a Lethbridge resident who fought in the First World War for Canada and now his life will be explored in a new talk and play.

Tom Sindlinger spent over 20 years getting to know Mountain Horse. He said he wanted to put on the event to let people know about the long and storied life of the veteran including a harrowing tale of survival during World War I.

Mountain Horse is also the namesake for the Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School in Lethbridge.

Sindlinger will be performing in Lethbridge at the Yates Theatre on May 10, 12 and the 22.
