GOD IS KEEPING HIS RAINBOW COVENANT

What's the level of your trust that God will not destroy the human race and all of the animals that he has created again? Well, when you say I haven't thought much about it lately, there's been more important things on my mind, such as inflation and the growing national debt.
I ask because if we can trust him for the massive things, those real solemn covenants, like not wiping out mankind, we can certainly trust him for the small stuff.
A central covenant was made with Noah after the flood ended, and God promised he would not destroy the human race again. As a signet of the covenant, he pointed to the rainbow and said this is the side of my promise to you. He said that when you see the rainbow, you will remember my promise, my covenant, that a flood will never again destroy the Earth.
Wait for a minute, preacher. Doesn't that mean that he'll never use a flood again? What about a giant earthquake or a plague?
God is not like some cheap lawyer trying to trick the jury into believing that a guilty man is innocent. This promise is not some word game where he can pull out a disaster, and she will. I just meant a flood.
Why is the church so set on proving that gods out to destroy the very thing that he loves and has created? Why do people argue so long and hard to prove that God hates people enough to grind them into powder if they get out of line one little step?
Meditate upon nature and the mercy of God and see if your spirits can't be enlarged to believe that he is out for your good.
That was his promise when he gave you Jesus as a sacrifice to redeem us back to Himself.
