Despite debt limit deadlock, Sen. Manchin believes US will avoid default

As debt ceiling negations continue to stall, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) told CNN on Wednesday that he “truly” believes America will not default. Sen. Manchin says he hopes lawmakers can put politics aside and negotiate a solution when they meet next week.
